 Virtual Cemetery

Martin High School was once located in Martin, Weakley County, Tennessee. The campus covered a large block bound by Poplar Street on the North, South College Street on the East, White Street on the South, and Sterling Street on the West.

A group of Martin High School alumni, aided by members of Weakley County Genealogy and Historical Society, have created a MHS Genealogy based on public domain information on each graduate/alumni (1926 through 1970).

From this gathered data, a virtual cemetery for each class has been created.

In addition, there are supplementary virtual cemeteries in progress of all all MHS alumni who served in the US Military (including Veterans and Honor Roll) as well as the MHS faculty, administration, staff, band directors, the librarians of the Martin Public Library, and more

About MHS Memorials on FindAGrave.com

A Virtual Cemetery is a customizable collection of Find a Grave memorials.  On this website, Virtual Cemeteries are organized by MHS Class and by staff, dates of death, and military service.

At Find a Grave, you can discover details about cemeteries and individual memorials, typically including birth, death, and burial information. Memorials may also showcase pictures, biographies, and family information. Remembrances may be left by placing 'virtual flowers' on memorials.

Thousands of contributors submit new listings, updates, corrections, photographs, and virtual flowers every hour. The site exists thanks to the millions of contributors. Dedicated Find a Grave teams assist daily with administrating, building, maintaining, and supporting the site.

Find a Grave began in 1995 when founder Jim Tipton created a website to share his hobby of visiting the graves of famous people. He discovered that many others shared his interest and opened the site to everyone, with a mission to find, record, and share worldwide burial and final disposition information. Millions of contributors have added memorials, photos, GPS locations, biographies, and other content to the site. These volunteers continue to contribute and update memorials on daily.  Find a Grave is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ancestry® and houses the largest international gravestone community.  Copyright © 2025 ~ Edited from Find a Grave®.
